SIATISTA

The book "Siatista, the city of hidden treasures" follows the standards and recommendations developed in the framework of the research project 383/452007/ TRANSINTERPRET II [Transnational Quality Management in Heritage Interpretation. C.I.P. Leader+, Axis 2, Measure 2.2 Transnational Cooperation]. The book aims to facilitate visitors to create their own unique experience, their own journey through experiential learning in a recreational setting. The experiential journey passes through 20 stations with a predominant attraction to the mansions of Siatista, through which the role of Siatista traders and their extensive trans-European network is revealed, the Library, 7 churches with unique art and architecture, 3 museums with special collections, and 8 mansions, as well as the tradition of the sun-dried wine. Both the built environment and the tangible cultural heritage as a whole testify to the prosperity of bygone times.
